Capture the waves as you travel to a hidden treasure at the middle of the sea…

Catch the waves as you cross to the Island
Talking about islands, Bohol is blessed with so many islands and islets on its surrounding that are considered as tourist magnets due to its magnificent white sand beaches, sandbars, and prestigious hotels and restaurants which offer rest and relaxation to local and international tourists. One of the beautiful islands that Boholanos are proud of is Pamilacan Island which is located at the middle of the sea facing the town of Baclayon. Pamilacan Island can be crossed by riding a boat from mainland to the island itself. The travel could take 40-1 hour more or less depending on the boat and weather condition.
The Magnificent Pamilacan Island
You can choose from various kinds of boat managed by different resorts and residents from the Island. You could pay a fixed amount for the fair if you want to stay longer on the island. The fair depends on what boat you will ride on and rest assured that you will enjoy riding these boats for they see to it that your safety is their utmost priority while crossing the deep blue Bohol Sea. On the other hand, according to Wikipedia.org Pamilacan Island perhaps means “resting place of the mantas" but can also mean “pamilac” or harpoon that is used to capture mantas, dolphins and whales in the past. Pamilacan Island is very rich with sea minerals and creatures. There are a lot of fish varieties on the islands waters. They also have a rich coral garden that lies under the protected fish sanctuary which can be visited through diving or snorkeling accompanied by experts from different resorts and people living from the island. They make sure to protect these resources because this is the only treasure that they could cherish forever until the end of time. So if ever you have a plan to visit the island I have some travel itineraries to consider when visiting this hidden treasure of Bohol.
